Ep 1: Pre-Launch Update from the Forest

FORT GOTTEN — EPISODE ONE: The Kidz of the Forest
Dropping October 22nd, 2021: UTC 16:00 Mint price: 75ADA
This episode will feature the kidz of the forest, scattered around 3 camps. With episode 0, everyone was able to get a small taste of the project and this first episode.
Now, with the full release, you can expect much more assets (we currently have more than 400 unique assets), lore, mechanics, roleplaying over at Discord, and much more.
Sampo’s being fully focused on developing more assets for this drop. We’re adding more backgrounds for the camps, more assets, and more everything for this episode.
Marketing
Marketing has never stopped since we launched, but now we’re getting more logs in the campfire. We have been getting all the details nailed down, and we can now start focusing on activities to grow our community.
We wanted to share some of the things we are currently working on. If you guys have any ideas or suggestions, please feel free to reach us out through any of our channels, we really appreciate all the support we can get.
Social Media
Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch
As you guys have seen, both Instagram and Twitter have started getting much more content.
In these coming weeks, we will keep pushing more content, dropping not only fun tweets so we can engage and interact with you guys, but also content about the world, the assets and bits of lore, and insights about Fort Gotten.
Twitter Spaces has been something we started exploring and will keep exploring, it’s really cool to have the opportunity to talk about the project with other people in the Crypto/NFT/art space. If you know of any spaces you would like us to join, let us know!
We also opened a Tik Tok account (yes, we actually did… Sampo is a big Tik Tok user). Mostly we will be sharing about the art development process, so go follow if that’s something that interests you.
Twitch is also something we wanna keep experimenting with for the art live streams. We tried making one directly on Discord, which was pretty fun, but we still want to gather some feedback around that!
Giveaways & Shoutouts
Related to social media, we are also talking with some people in the CNFT space to help us push the project forward, both in social media and also YouTube.
Again, if anyone has specific recommendations, contacts, or suggestions about channels or social media profiles we could contact, it is greatly appreciated.
Verification
We already did the verification request at the start of the month. As most know, CNFT get a LOT of verification requests, they have hundreds in queue, so we are now just waiting until they get to ours.
Regarding that, we also did the verification request for Episode 1, which is waiting on them too. Hopefully, that gets sorted out before the Episode 1 drop.

Additionally, we are planning to do a Twitter raid with the whole Discord, coordinating efforts to do tag CNFT to help us verify. That will be announced in Discord!
Discord
Obviously, Discord not only plays a huge role in our community but it’s the central hub of Fort Gotten. Regarding marketing, we have a couple of things planned.
The first and most obvious, we are finally doing the invite competition. We hope everyone can get on board and help us grow our community even more.
Second, the camp activities. If you have been a member of the Discord and specifically a kid-owner, you know we have been doing some activities involving social media. More things like that are coming.
We will be talking more about Discord and the community specifically in the next section.
Up Next for Fort Gotten
If you guys follow the roadmap on our website and our latest update here on Medium, you know things will start picking up after the release of Episode 1, when we will be able to fully concentrate on the community, the mechanics, and building amazing stories in this universe with you guys.
I think some of you have already had the chance to interact with our newest team member blukev over at Discord. Believe us, those interactions never go unnoticed, and many might play a role, somehow, in the future.
The camps are already populated, and most of you have been able to get a small taste. That was only the beginning, and much more will be coming. From the launch of Fort Gotten with Episode 1, that will only keep on growing, and as the community grows, it will only better.
The Discord will definitely play a big role in the development not only of the community, but also the project, the lore, and the universe in general. Community involvement and participation are at the core of Fort Gotten.
Finally, Custom Lore-Related Airdrops, Short Stories, Merch, Giveaways, and Rewards are all being worked on, and we cannot wait to share more with you guys.
And last, but not least: Collaborations.
All collaborations that are in talks right now will happen after Episode One: Kidz of the Forest. We can’t disclose much right now, but we are in talks with some projects we love.
